Michael Ferreira Heyns has been born in the Potchefstroom in 1946. He completed a Fine Arts Degree at the University of Pretoria in 1967. First one man exhibition 1968 South African Association of Arts in Pretoria. He make regally exhibition in Pretoria and country. He had published a coffee table book Michael Heyns Chronological (2004). His techniques creations and compositions of art works won him a loyal following of collectors over the year
Michael Heyns being (according art critics dealer collectors and us) “possibly one of the most under-estimated artists in South Africa.”
