Biography
Born 1958 Riversdale Western Cape.
Studding ceramics 1982/85 Life drawing and painting at Ruth Prowse School of Art
1990/92.An art tour to Europe 1998 Her work including oil paintings as well as bronze
sculpture. It symbolizes a ritualistic dance that captures an ancient tradition of
celebrating the elements, so often forgotten in modern times. In Feb. 2000 participated
with eleven other artists in an art exhibition "A Celebration of Art and
Technology" in aid of the N.Mandela Children's Fun sponsored by Hewlett Packard. Her
subtle symbolism represents very realistic emotions and concept of the modern state of
mind. |
