Day one :Arrive
in Johannesburg. Your guide will meet you and take you on a brief city tour, including a
visit to the top of Africa where you will have a splended view of Johannesburg. Then on to
Gold Reef city which used to be the richest gold mine in the world for an underground
tour. Watch gold pouring and tribal dancing while you are having lunch. Drive to Soweto:
View of Soweto only. Soweto is the largest Black city in Africa with a culture of its own.
This city with a long troubled history in which politics had a very strong influence is a
vibrant city with a mixture of various groups from all over South Africa.

Day two
:After
breakfast, we shall proceed to Pretoria, the Jacaranda City. We shall visit the
Voortrekker monument, Church square and Union building. We shall then depart to Sun City,
the no.1 pleasure resort in South Africa. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere in the Western
Transvaal and join in the fun and pleasure at the Valley of the Waves. |

Day three:
Enjoy
any of the many activities at Sun City and the Lost City. For those interested a game
drive will be provided in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. In the late afternoon we shall
return to Pretoria. |

Day four:
Departure for our Kruger National Park Safari! On our way to Kruger, we shall be viewing
breathtaking scenes of nature. Experience the majestic Eastern Transvaal Drakensberg
mountains, rock formations, picturesque waterfalls, landscapes and magnificent views at
Blyde River Canyon and Three Rondawels. View the Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's
Window, Lisbon and Berlin waterfalls and the Pinnacle.Then on to a visit to the Kapama
cheetah research and breeding station. In the evening Marabou will treat you to a night
game drive in the heart of the African bush. Your experienced African tracker and guide
will be showing you animals with a powerful spotlight on an open vehicle. Dinner will be
served under the bright African sky in a boma. |

Day five:A
full day safari in the Kruger National Park. Your safari will include leisurely game
drives through herds of Impala, Wildebeest, Giraffe and Zebra. We shall pause for
photographic opportunities and keep an eagle eye open for Lion and Elephant and other
exciting occurances.In addition, we shall be driving to various waterholes where we shall
wait in silence to anticipate the magnificent view of game coming down to slake their
thirst. |

Day six, seven, eight:
Three full days safari in the Kruger. We shall be covering approximately 350 km. from the
southern to the northern parts of the Kruger. We shall have various leisure breaks at
different waterholes.In addition to viewing African wildlife, you will also view other
breathtaking scenes of nature. View different landscapes ranging from bushveld, sandveld,
open savanna and riverine forests. Kruger is surely not an experience to miss!! |

Day nine:
Go on our last early morning game drive wishing our animal friends farewell. Return to
Johannesburg via Pilgrims Rest, an old gold mining village. Wine and dine at the popular
Randburg Waterfront. |
